Pets

There is a dog park / dog run in Peters Park; adjacent to Eight Streets. (Also known as DRS - Dog Recreational Space) This is a fenced in area where dogs can run off-leash and play with other dogs.

Boston has a Leash law - dogs are not allowed off-leash anywhere except in designated DRSs.

Boston also has a pooper-scooper law - owners must clean up after their pets when they do business outside; so please bring some bags with you when you walk your pet. And please place filled bags in trash cans, or take them home with you. Leaving them on the sidewalk is inappropriate, and leaving them curbside leads to storm drain blockages.
