Ringgold Park – Heather from Friends of Ringgold Park attended to talk about the park. They have applied for grants and received approved last year to install irrigation to redo and maintain planting beds and water feature. There will be a fundraiser May 23 at the Garden of Eden. Local Businesses are sponsoring a silent auction and they will also doing a raffle. Interested in more information: ringgoldpark@verizon.net

 

298 Shawmut – Geno Ranaldi, a developer, came by the ESNA to speak with members about 298 Shawmut Ave (the old Waltham tavern building). He is looking to buy and renovate the building into condos. He came to NA to get our opinions on what we would like to see the space as, residential or residential/commercial. He showed plans for all residential and stated that this is his preferred renovation for the building. Many neighbors in the room agreed that Ňall residentialÓ would be preferred as well.
