EIGHTSTREETS

Your Neighborhood on the 'Net

Eight Streets has established a presence on social media. In addition to this web site, you can find us on the following:
Facebook

Facebook has become our primary method of contact for members. We post event notices, neighborhood news, and photos to Facebook on a regular basis. Items posted on our FB page can literally reach hundreds of people in a very short period of time. This is your best way to keep in touch with Eight Streets for current news and events. -Click here-
Email List

Eight Streets has an email list on groups.io. We use the list to send out neighborhood notices. You can also use it to email your neighbors if you have questions or issues to discuss with everyone.

Next Door

This is a third party social media site that maintains a 'neighborhood' for each neighborhood in the South End. There is where neighbors can ask for recommendations, look for babysitter, sell things locally. Eight Streets will cross post our neighborhood events to next door as well.

The city has also tapped into Next Door, so you'll often see BPD or other city announcements show up on your pages. -Click here-
Twitter

Our Twitter feed re-posts anything we add to Facebook, as well as re-tweeting important neighborhood info as we can (Snow emergencies, trash delays, etc) -Click here-
