New year, new change

Hi everyone!!
The park has been rather quiet through COVID, and post COVID people's lives have gotten busier. But good things are coming to the park.
Parks Department has some new staff, and we now have a project manager for potential Watson park improvements!! This means we will now have an advocate as we approach design and go for funds.
The city has hired CopleyWolff architecture firm to design improvements to the park. Their starting point are the parks current condition, ideas we have been focusing on with our own designs, as well as input from the public at the June meeting and input they will solicit through the project web site. The architect will take al the input and come back with some design concepts at a September public meeting. From there the project would go for CPA funds, and construction based on funding and contractor timeline.
